Geek Girls Allowed: 1 year ago · ViewHi everyone – just wanted to bring you the latest on the Girl Geeks South Yorkshire Dinner.
The date for your diaries is Weds 23rd Feb, 6-9pm. Venue – Barnsley Digital Media Centre (very close to Barnsley Interchange and with plenty of parking which is free after 6pm). Confirmed speaker – Karen Johnson, producer and director with Turmeric Media and formerly with the BBC. Another speaker to be announced soon.
The event is FREE and there will be a hot buffet (and probably cake). Plus, you’ll be able to view our newly revamped gallery ”d-space”, featuring a fantastic exhibition by up-and-coming furniture/product designer John Green. Register here: http://girlgeeksoyo.eventbrite.com/.
